The company was fouded in 1998 and became a forward Czech supplier and integrator in an area of the training solutions for individual and tactics training of the Czech Army ground forces. After fusion with the HEXAGON SYSTEMS company in 2009, the VR Group company expanded its product portfolio by the comprehensive training solution for the Air Force. VR Group a.s. has become a leading pure Czech company on a simulation training solution market. At the same time the company sucesfully started its activities on foreign markets.

VR Group products and solutions are actively used as a substantial part of the individual and the tactics training of the Czech Army ground and air forces. The products and the solutions qualities have been successfully proven by the customers and foreign partners in many countries.

The company heads its activities to the following areas:

development of new products to support training of ground and air forces according to actual requirements on the equipment and the characteristics of the combat and non-combat operations

development of training systems for training of the security authorities including members and staffs of the Crisis Management System.

systematic improvement of the installed products and solutions, based on the feed-back provided by the customers and actual training requirements

research and development projects solutions for the Czech Republic Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Industry and Trade

The company actively participates in NATO research projects, especially in activities of the NATO Research & Technology Organization, where VR Group is involved in NATO Modelling and Simulation Group workgroups (NMSG).

VR Group, a.s. headquarters reside in Prague and the branches are located in Brno and Vyskov. It is a subsidiary company of LOM PRAHA government enterprise, established by the Czech Republic Ministry of Defence. Currently it has 40 employees.
